Prince of Thorns
This novel was both less than original expectation and better for a great finish to the first edition in this series. The story seemed to have a lack of direction (or at least one that I didn't relate to) for at least the first half of the story. In addition, there is a significant amount of (seeming) violence that I just took for effect.
