Fluency by Jen Foehner Wells is the book for you if you enjoy fun, quick space operas that have enjoyable characters, good world building and an excellent story line. She has created a universe where most of the advanced races (including Earth) are derived from a unique species from long in the past. The Earth and humans have a special place in the mythology around this original race. Lots of science fiction tropes fit into the story line that you will find enjoyable.4.5 stars for a really fun read. Recommended for all who enjoy space operas or traditional science fiction!!!
