An excellent space opera read that kept me entertained all of the way through. A little more romance than I usually like in what I read but it does not really overwhelm the story being told and there was plenty of action scenes that really highlighted it. Cool main characters that are well developed and a grand sweeping future universe that has been created to tell their story. I will be continuing on with the rest of the trilogy to learn the whole story being told as the first book ends on kind of a cliffhanger
