The Seeress of Kell

The Seeress of Kell - David Eddings, Cameron Beierle A mostly interesting re-read (actually a listen) of an old favorite. In listening to this, I do see kind of why I chose to stop reading David Eddings series offerings as this one got quite repetitive towards the end and I had kind of forgotten this recently. Still an enjoyable read but probably going to continue toi stay away from his other series.

The 10th Victim

The 10th Victim - Robert Sheckley At least it was short, which seemed to be it's only redeeming quality. Not much action or humor and the characters were annoying.

The Price of Valor

The Price of Valor: Book Three of the Shadow Campaigns - Django Wexler A solid book in this series that moved the story quite a bit down the road. Lots more use of sorcery in this volume than we had previously seen in the first two books. Looking forward to picking up the fourth book in this series soon.

4.5 Stars for an entertaining read.

The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet

The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet - Becky Chambers A quick fun read that I enjoyed a lot. There was some action scenes throughout the book but where this book shined was character development. I really enjoyed the relationships between the crew and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

4 Stars for a fun read.

Castle of Wizardry

Castle of Wizardry - David Eddings Almost done with my re-read of this fantasy series classic. This is definitely a comfort read in between other novels I am digesting.

A Wizard of Earthsea

A Wizard of Earthsea - Ursula K. Le Guin It is almost always fun to revisit books you have not read in a longish time and this one was no exception. The only issue I might have with this quick read is now I want to reread the rest of the series (if that can really be called an issue).

4 Stars for entertainment as expected.

Dragon Hunters (The Chronicles of the Exile)

Dragon Hunters (The Chronicles of the Exile) - Marc Turner, Oliver Wyman An excellent addition to this entertaining fantasy world built by Marc Turner. This one was more subtle than the magic based all out war of the first book in this series but I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure and look forward to reading more in this series with the 3rd book recently released.

4.5 Stars for a great fantasy read.

Old Man's War

Old Man's War - John Scalzi This was just as good as the first time I read this several years ago.
